Pearl Barley is whole grain barley with it's outer bran and hull layer removed.

 

It belongs to starchy carbohydrates and you can use it as a base for your hearty meals like:

Salad, Risotto, Stew, Soup, replace the usual rice in a dish or even make dessert!

 

 

How To Cook:

 

  • To ease digestion and to make cooking faster, soak before use (or overnight)

 

  • Rinse out, add fresh water in a ratio 1:3. Bring it to boil, after that reduce the flame and cook it for around 40 min. 

 

  • Follow instructions if part of the recipe.
